2019 TRANSFORMATION (WINS, LOSSES) & EXPECTATIONS FOR 2020. PART 2

Okay, so last week we went over 2019's transformation. Wins, losses, takeaways, etc.

If you missed it, go check it out here before you read this blog.

Alright, today we are going to set expectations for 2020 so we can have the best year yet.

For 2020, we want to set realistic goals to help us get closer to fulfilling the purpose that God has for us.

What calling has God put on our heart? What steps can we take this year to take that to the next level? What things do we want to be more intentional with? What is important to us?

So let's think about every aspect of our life and the things we want to improve on in 2020.

Faith:

For me:

- To continue to strengthen my relationship with God everyday.

- To remain faithful to the calling that God has put on my heart and not question it.

- To tithe 10% of everything that I make in 2020. (Honestly, I'm ashamed to say that I didn't always do this in 2019.)

Now take some time to write down the things you want to improve on with your Faith in 2020.

Family:

For me:

- Spend at least one day of every weekend this year with Family. No questions asked. (This means a full day of no work or distractions, just spending quality time with family.)

- Take at least one family vacation this year. This is a chance for us to have new memories, adventures, and bond, away from the stress of "real life."

- To be more present in the moment. To take some time away from social media (especially on those weekends) or my phone and just be present with the people I love most. Time is fleeting and it doesn't wait for anyone.

Now take some time to write down the things you want to improve on with your Family in 2020.

Business:

For me:

- To stay consistent with this blog and podcast. Once a week for the whole year.

- To Inspire, motivate, and empower THOUSANDS of women. (In 2019, it was hundreds.)

- To make an impact through my sharing my story with my content and to always stay true to myself.

Now take some time to write down the things you want to improve on or accomplish with your Business in 2020.

Health (this includes Mental Health):

For me:

- To be more intentional with my eating and Healthy living

- To drink more water

- To take time to myself to protect my peace

- To do more things that I'm afraid of. To push myself everyday to get out of my comfort zone.

- To go into the grocery store by myself and actually buy something (this is honestly super hard for me and affects my mental. My anxiety has taken over this aspect of my life and it's time that I get it back.)

- To have a "me day" at least once a month for the whole year.

Now take some time to write down the things you want to improve on or accomplish with your Health/Mental Health in 2020.

In 2020 my main focus is going to be growing in aspect of my life and being more intentional.

I'm purposely not setting any crazy goal that It is nearly impossible to reach. And I'm not setting any numbers as far as the things I will accomplish (my income, number of downloads on my podcast, number of new recruits in my business, etc) because God is in control of that, not me.

If I am being intentional everyday, staying consistent, and letting God guide me every step of the way, I know he will take me to places that I couldn't even imagine.

My goals and expectations may change as God transforms me in 2020. This is just a rough outline of the things that I am going to focus on.

When you are thinking of your expectations for 2020 and the things that you want to accomplish, make sure that they are realistic and things that you can stay consistent with. Let's throw all these crazy and far fetched goals out the window this year and see how far God takes us.

Before I let you go, I want to leave you with this prayer.... I'm praying for you that you have a clear vision of your expectations for 2020 and the things that are most important for you. I pray that you let God guide you through every decision you make and that you know that numbers or materialistic things don't determine your worth. In Jesus name, Amen.

Never forget to choose faith over fear.
