5 Daily Habits to Grow Closer to Christ & Develop a Strong Relationship with Him

Have you been struggling to have a close relationship with Christ?

Do you feel yourself drifting away from Christ, but you're not sure how to grow closer to him?

Or maybe you feel like you have a relationship with Him, but you want it to be stronger?

Trust me... I've been there and I've got you

We can get so caught up in the day to day things, that we forget to acknowledge Christ in every aspect of our lives. When you are just going through the motions of life, before you know it you can start to feel like you're drifting away from Christ and it can almost feel impossible to find your way back. I was like that for years...

Throughout this past year or so, I have really been practicing 5 daily habits that have helped me grow closer to Christ and have this strong relationship with him that I now have. Today, I am going to share these habits with you because I know they will help you to have that strong relationship with Christ that you've been seeking.

The 5 Daily Habits to Grow Closer to Christ & Develop a Strong Relationship with Him are:

1. Pray

- Prayer is a crucial part of developing a strong relationship with Christ.

- Pray every single day.

- I pray every morning, night, and throughout the day.

2. Study the Bible

- Studying your Bible everyday will help you to be able to discern the truth that God wants you to see through his words.

- This doesn't have to be a long elaborate Bible Study, you can just go chapter by chapter and study them for 15 to 20 minutes a day.

- Right now, I'm doing Bible Studies on the book of John on my podcast. If you want to check them out, look at my previous podcast episodes, or you can join my Facebook group.

3. Express gratitude

- Every single day I express gratitude to the Lord and thank him for everything he's done in my life, the good and the bad.

4. Worship

- Now I know a lot of people may think that you can only worship while you're at church, but that's not true.

- Most of the time I'll just go on Pandora and put on the "Christian hits radio" on there, and I will just worship the Lord, sing to him, and praise him.

- You want to make a point to at least do this for a few minutes a day.

- Worshiping the Lord is another way of expressing your gratitude towards him and thanking him.

5. Taking time to just be still and listen

- A lot of times what I'll do after my prayer is I will sit there for a few minutes and just have that quiet time to really listen to what God is telling me, what he wants me to discern, and what he wants me to know.

- If you've been asking questions and you feel like you haven't gotten answers, maybe it's because you're not taking the time to be still and listen.

So those are the five daily habits to help you grow closer to Christ and develop that strong relationship with him. You can do these all together, or you can do them scattered out throughout the day. A lot of times I'll continue repeating some of these daily habits throughout the day. If you make it a habit to do these 5 things every single day, it will help you draw closer to the Lord and have that strong relationship with him that you're seeking.

Before I let you go, I did want to say a quick prayer. for you.. Lord, I pray that you lift up every single person reading this right now. Lord, I pray that you just wrap your arms around them and show them so much love. I pray that they take the time out of their day to do these five daily habits and that they have that close relationship with you that they've been seeking. That they grow closer to you than they ever have before and that they just know that you're always right here with them, no matter what. I pray that they know that if they just lean on you and ask you for guidance and support, that you're always going to be right here and you will help them through every aspect of their life. I love you so much Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I love you guys so much.

Never forget to choose faith over fear.
