Did God Appoint Us to Suffer Wrath? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 39 of 90.

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 39 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 51 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 39 Scripture:

"For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ."

-1 Thessalonians 5:9

Day 39 Devotional:

"God gave His only Son to die on the cross for our sins so that whoever believes in Him shall have eternal life. When we are saved and baptized, we are disciples of Jesus Christ and we are not appointed wrath, but salvation. We, as believers of Jesus Christ, have to spread the gospel to others and let them know this great news. It's important for us to let as many people as we possibly can know about Jesus and how He's changed our lives in hopes that they may be saved."

So, God wants all of us to have salvation through Jesus Christ. That is why He sent His only Son to die on the cross to forgive us of our sins, so that whoever believes in Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life in heaven. That is why it's so important to let other people know about that because there are people in this world that have never heard about Jeus, they don't know anything about Him. We would be doing a disservice to them to not spread the gospel of Jesus and let them know how He has changed our lives and how He can also change their lives in hopes that they may be saved and go to heaven also.

I do have this journal available for purchase on Amazon if you want to go and grab one:

To Purchase women's journal click here To Purchase neutral journal click here

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son to die on the cross to forgive my sins. Jesus thank You for saving me and giving me the gift of eternal life. Jesus, it's in Your name that I pray, Amen."

Today's journal entry is a free write:

Write down whatever comes to your mind.

"The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble." -Psalm 37:39

So that is it for today's episode. I will be back tomorrow for day 40, so make sure you stay tuned for that.

I love you guys so much.
