Do We Have the Same Thoughts as God? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 44 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 44 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 46 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 44 Scripture:

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts," -Isaiah 55:8-9

Day 44 Devotional:

"The Lord our God is the Almighty. He created the earth and everything in it. He knows everything. He knows more than we could ever fathom. The way that we as mere humans think is not the same as the Lord. Our thinking is limited to what we know based on past experiences. There is no limit to the thoughts of God. He is the Most High and we could never reach His glory. It's so important for us to trust the Lord when it comes to things that we can't understand or control. He already has it under control, He already knows what is going to happen, and He is already working in our favor."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Dear Heavenly Father, I know that You created all things and You know things that I couldn't even fathom. You are the Almighty and I'm so grateful for all that You've done. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal question:

What are some things that the Lord is doing in my life that I don't understand?

Take some time to journal and reflect

"But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD; they do not understand his plan, he who gathers them like sheaves to the threshing floor." -Micah 4:12
