In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 89 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day through tomorrow, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.
Day 89 Scripture:
Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life." -Ezekiel 37:4-5
Day 89 Devotional:
"These verses here show a glimpse of the power of God. He can do all things and His power is beyond anything we could ever fathom. In some verses after these, the Lord told Ezekiel to prophesy to the house of Israel that He would open up their graves and bring them up from them. The Israelites had been spread from their land and held in captivity. They were losing all hope that they could be saved, but a time would come when God would bring them out of their graves and they would settle in their land again. Whenever we are discouraged and start to lose hope, it's important to remember that God is right here with us and He will bring us out of our hardships in His perfect timing."
I do have this journal available for purchase on Amazon if you want to go and grab one:
So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.
Today’s Prayer:
"Lord thank You for always being here no matter what. I seek to always put my hope and trust in You regardless of what hardships I am facing. I know that You can do more than I could ever fathom and nothing is impossible for You. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Today's journal question:
Is my hope in the Lord? Why or why not?
Read Ezekiel 37:1-14 and journal your thoughts.
"So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone." -Ezekiel 37:7
So that is it for today's episode. I will be back tomorrow for day 90, so make sure you stay tuned for that.
I love you guys so much.
