Have You Been Letting God Lead You Through Life? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 81 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 81 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 9 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 81 Scripture:

But when they said, "Give us a king to lead us," this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD. And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. -1 Samuel 8:6

Day 81 Devotional:

"This is when Israel first asked for a king to lead them and rule over them. These people didn't realize that they had a king all along and that is God. This also applies to the world today. So many people get caught up in politics and want a president to lead us, but the ultimate leader and protector has been here all along. People back then and now reject God as their king because they want someone that is like them to lead them. The ultimate leader and protector is God. He fights our battles, guides us, and protects us when we lean on Him and put our trust in Him."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for protecting me and fighting my battles. I know that You are the King above all kings and I am so grateful for You. Please continue to lead, guide, and direct me through every aspect of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal question:

Have I been letting God lead me through life?

Take some time to journal and reflect
