Have You Been Staying Faithful to Your God Led Calling? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 23 of 90.

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 23 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 67 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 23 Scripture:

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." -Jeremiah 1:5

Day 23 Devotional:

"This is what the word of the Lord said to Jeremiah when He first called him and appointed him as a prophet. Jeremiah didn't think he was cut out for what God was calling him to do, but with God by your side anything is possible. The Almighty is our Creator and He knows us more than we know ourselves. What God has planned for us is usually a lot different than what we have planned for ourselves, but once we get that call we have to stay faithful to it and let Him lead us every step of the way. God will never leave us and He will guide us through every aspect of our lives, we just need to lean on Him and trust in Him completely."

So, you may be feeling like God has been calling you to do something or God has been putting it on your heart to do something. You may not feel equipped to do it or you may not have any idea of how to start or where to begin. If you truly feel in your heart that God is calling you to do something, He will equip you with everything that you need, but you have to take that first step, be obedient and faithful, and just lean on God every step of the way. We are not going to be perfect, we are going to make mistakes, but if you truly feel that God is putting something in your heart, you have to step into obedience and the things that He is calling you to do.

The Lord will be right there with you, He is not going to leave you. Just like we see in Joshua 1:9 it says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” In chapter 1 of the book of Josua, the Lord is telling Joshua that He is going to lead his people to the land that He swore their forefathers. There are other times in the Bible where the Lord had called prophets to do things and they did not feel equipped. Some examples are Moses, Jeremiah, and Joshua; they all didn't feel equipped, but the Lord was always right there by their side giving them everything that we need right in His perfect timing.

I do have this journal available for purchase on Amazon if you want to go and grab one:

To Purchase women's journal click here To Purchase neutral journal click here

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord God Almighty, You are my Creator and I know that Your plans are greater than I can fathom. Even when I don't feel equipped to handle what You have called me to do, I know that you are right here with me always. Please give me the strength to stay faithful to my calling and guide me every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Today's journal question:

Have I been staying faithful to the calling that God has placed on my heart?

Take some time to journal and reflect

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name." -John 15:16

So that is it for today's episode. I will be back tomorrow for day 24, so make sure you stay tuned for that.

I love you guys so much.

Never forget to choose faith over fear.
