How Can We Renew Our Minds? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 59 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 59 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 31 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 59 Scripture:

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will" -Romans 12:2

Day 59 Devotional:

"This verse is so important to always remember and live by. As you know by now, the world that we live in is full of evil and corruption. There are so many things that are not okay in this world that are being normalized. As Christians, we have to make sure that we are constantly renewing our minds through Bible study, prayer, and letting the Holy Spirit guide us. It can be easy to get caught up in this world and try to do things on our own, but we have to stand firm in our faith and listen to what God says. Then we will be able to test and approve what His will is and we won't be deceived by worldly things that are not in alignment with God's will."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, thank You for showing me the truth of your words and helping me to discern that truth. I know that when I lean on You through every aspect of my life, then I won't be deceived by this corrupt world. I love You with my whole heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today's journal entry:

Take some time to think about what you've been doing to renew your mind lately and what truths God has been showing you.

"Instead, you ought to say, 'If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that.'" -James 4:15
