How Can We Use Our Words Wisely? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 66 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 66 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 24 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 66 Scripture:

"A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered."

-Proverbs 17:27

Day 66 Devotional:

"All throughout the book of Proverbs, it goes over knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. It's important for us to really study Proverbs and seek wisdom from the Lord to discern the truth and act according to His will for our lives. When we receive knowledge and understanding from the Lord, then we can use our words wisely and refrain from acting foolishly. A harsh word and getting angry does no good for anyone involved in the situation. It's important to always think before we speak and stay level-headed even when all we want to do is shout. This will take a lot of patience, knowledge, understanding, and wisdom that we can only receive from the Lord."

I do have this journal available for purchase on Amazon if you want to go and grab one:

To Purchase women's journal click here To Purchase neutral journal click here

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord, please give me the knowledge and understanding to use my words wisely and discern the truth. Help me to refrain from anger and give me the strength to practice patience. Lord, please continue to lead, guide, and direct me through every aspect of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Today's journal entry is a free write:

Write down whatever comes to your mind.

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."

-Romans 12:12

So that is it for today's episode. I will be back tomorrow for day 67, so make sure you stay tuned for that.

I love you guys so much.

Never forget to choose faith over fear.
