How Were All Things Made? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 42 of 90.

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 42 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 48 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 42 Scripture:

"Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." -John 1:3

Day 42 Devotional:

"This verse is talking about Jesus Christ and how through Him when someone asks Him into their heart, they are born again in Spirit. We are nothing without Jesus. Jesus died on the cross to forgive us of our sins and whoever believes in Him has eternal life and the Holy Spirit within them. In chapter 3 of John Jesus tells Nicodemus in verse 5 that "no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit." The only way to be born in the Spirit is through Jesus Christ when we ask Him into our hearts. It's important for us to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and let others know what He has done in our lives in hopes that they will be saved and be born in Spirit also."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. Thank You for giving me a new life in You and for guiding me through every aspect of my life. I love You with my whole heart. Jesus, it's in Your name that I pray, Amen."

Today's journal entry is a free write:

Write down whatever comes to your mind.

"Jesus answered, 'I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.'"
