Jesus Loves the Children. Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 70 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 70 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 20 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 70 Scripture:

But Jesus called the children to him and said "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." -Luke 18:16

Day 70 Devotional:

"This is what Jesus said to His disciples. People were bringing babies to Jesus to have Him touch them and His disciples rebuked them. Children are innocent and have so much to learn. The older we get the more set in our ways we can get and that can affect us negatively when learning new things. We are all God's children and we should always be open to learning about God and the teachings of Jesus Christ just like a child. When I was younger I was so excited to go to church and learn about God. He was my best friend and I talked to the Lord all the time. As I grew up I started trying to do things on my own and I strayed away from the Lord. Over the past few years, I've been strengthening my relationship with the Lord and getting back to my roots of being a child of God and it has been amazing what God has done in my life."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me and loving me. I am Your child and I am beyond grateful for You. I seek to always be excited to learn from You and follow You. I love You with my whole heart. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal entry is a free write:

Write down whatever comes to your mind.

"I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." -Luke 18:17
