The Great Commission. Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 49 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 49 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 41 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 49 Scripture:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." -Matthew 28:19-20

Day 49 Devotional:

"This is what Jesus said to the eleven disciples when they saw Him at the mountain after His resurrection. It is important for us to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It's also important to obey everything that Jesus has commanded. That's why it's crucial for us to study our Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. We can find His teachings all throughout the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord, thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. I am beyond grateful for everything that You've done for my family and me. Lord, please give me the courage to spread the gospel to others, to let everyone know about You, and how You've changed my life. Jesus, it's in Your name that I pray, Amen."

Today's journal questions:

Have I been studying the Bible lately? Why or why not?

Have I been spreading the gospel of Jesus to others? Why or why not?

Based on scripture, what does it mean to be a disciple of Christ?

"Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day." -Acts 2:41
