The LORD is Abounding in Love to All Who Call on Him. Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 61 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 61 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 29 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 61 Scripture:

"You are forgiving and good, O LORD, abounding in love to all who call on you." -Psalm 86:5

Day 61 Devotional:

"This is a verse from a psalm of David. The Lord our God is full of grace, love, goodness, and mercy. God loved us so much that He sent His only Son to die on the cross to forgive us of our sins. When we wholeheartedly call on the Lord, He will answer our call. He may not answer in our timing or give us the answer that we want, but He always has our best interests at heart. The Lord gives us unconditional love and He wants us all to repent and come to Him. There is nothing that you can do to make the Lord not love you. You just have to call on Him, repent, and seek to truly change your ways."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Thank You, Lord, for Your goodness and Your love. Thank You for always forgiving me and for Your mercy and grace. I am beyond grateful for You Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Today's journal question:

In what ways has the Lord shown me unconditional love?

Take some time to journal and reflect

"In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me."

-Psalm 86:7
