The LORD is Close to the Brokenhearted. Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 86 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 86 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 4 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 86 Scripture:

"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." -Psalm 34:18

Day 86 Devotional:

"Have you been going through it lately? Have you been feeling like you have no one to talk to or no one that cares? Trust me I've been there, but you don't have to go through it alone. Just like we went over a few days ago, the Lord is always right here with us. Sometimes the weight of this world can feel so heavy and we can get overwhelmed. It's important to always remember that the Lord is close to us, even when we don't realize it. This situation that you are going through is not going to last forever. You will grow through this with God by your side. Take some time today to embrace the love and presence of our Heavenly Father and let Him in completely."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord, thank You for always being close to me, even when I don't realize it. Thank You for Your never-ending love and Your grace. Today and every day I will choose to let You in and trust in You completely. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal questions:

What have I been going through lately?

Have I been feeling the presence of the Lord? Why or why not?

Take some time to embrace the presence and love of the Lord. Journal your thoughts.
