The LORD Preserves the Faithful. Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 67 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 67 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 23 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 67 Scripture:

"Love the LORD, all his saints! The LORD preserves the faithful, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD." -Psalm 31:23-24

Day 67 Devotional:

"The Lord Almighty is our creator and He loves us exactly how we are, no matter what. In Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 5 it says: "Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." This is exactly what we should do. When we remain faithful to the Lord and follow Him, He preserves us and He provides us with all that we need. The people that are too proud to believe in Jesus, to follow God, and that just do their own thing and continue to live their lives in sin will be paid back in full when the time comes. We have to stand firm in our faith, remain faithful to the Lord, and stay committed to His will no matter what. There will come a time when it will seem much easier to follow the crowd and disobey the Lord, but we have to be strong, take heart, and know that the Lord has already overcome the world, and our true home is in heaven with God the Father and Jesus Christ."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Thank You, Lord, for Your unconditional love. Thank You for never leaving me and accepting me for exactly who I am. Every day I seek to follow You, obey You, and be in a relationship with You Lord. I love You with every ounce of my being. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal questions:

What is the most important thing in my life right now?

What have I been doing to show my love to the Lord?

Based on scripture, how should I love the Lord?

"How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you." -Psalm 31:19
