The LORD Searches Us. Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 47 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 47 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 43 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 47 Scripture:

"O LORD, you have searched me and you know me." -Psalm 139:1

Day 47 Devotional:

"The Lord knows our thoughts and our hearts. He knows everything about us. He knows us better than we know ourselves. There is nothing that we can hide from the Lord and He is always right here with us. When I was living in sin I used to try and hide from the Lord because I knew that what I was doing was wrong. Now that God has changed me for the better, I have so much comfort and peace knowing that the Lord knows everything about me and still loves me. He has always been right here with me just waiting for me to turn to Him and give Him my all. This also applies to you. The Lord knows everything about you and loves every bit of you. He seeks to have a close relationship with you and wants your whole heart. Take some time today to pray and open up your heart to the Lord, give Him your all, and let Him in completely."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord thank You for choosing me. Thank You for knowing everything about me and still loving me. Thank You for never leaving me and always having my best interests at heart. Today I put my trust in You and I give You my all. I love You with my whole heart. Jesus, it's in Your name that I pray, Amen."

Today's journal question:

How does it make me feel to know that the Lord knows everything about me and still loves me?

Take some time to journal and reflect

"You hem me in--behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me." -Psalm 139:5
