There is No One Like the LORD. Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 69 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 69 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 21 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 69 Scripture:

"How great you are, O Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears." -2 Samuel 7:22

Day 69 Devotional:

"The Lord God Almighty is so great and full of power, mercy, and goodness. We as mere humans can't even comprehend how amazing God is. He is the one and only God that created us all. In the world that we live in, there are a lot of false gods and idols. So many people in this world idolize money and materialistic things. It's so important for us as Christians to stand firm in our faith and know that there is only one true God. We should never worship, praise, or follow any other "god" but the Lord God Almighty. We also have to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and let others know about Him so that they may be saved also."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Thank You, Lord God Almighty, for everything that You've done. Thank You for Your power, goodness, mercy, and love. I know that You are the one and only God and I will worship You all the days of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal question:

What have I been idolizing in my life?

Take some time to journal and give it all to God. Be honest with yourself.

"You were shown these things so that you know that the LORD is God; besides him there is no other." -Deuteronomy 4:35
