"To live is Christ and to Die is Gain." Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 76 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 76 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 14 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 76 Scripture:

"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."

-Philippians 1:21

Day 76 Devotional:

"This is what Paul said in his letter to the people at Philippi. When we are saved then we have eternal life through Christ. The most important thing in our life should be to have a relationship with Christ and spread the gospel so that others may be saved also. As Christians, when we die we go to heaven with God the Father and Jesus Christ, which is the greatest gift. We can't even fathom God's glory but we should seek it every day. We shouldn't ever be afraid of death because we know that this is our temporary home, and our mission on this earth is to be fully submitted to the will of God the Father. If we are still living another day on earth we should not take it for granted and use it to stay fully submitted to God's will and the calling that He's placed on our hearts."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord God Almighty, thank You for giving me eternal life through Christ Jesus. I know that my true home is in heaven with You and I will spend my days on this earth being fully submitted to Your will. I love You with my whole heart. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal entry is a free write:

Write down whatever comes to your mind.

"I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far." -Philippians 1:23
