We Have a Great High Priest Who Can Sympathize with Our Weaknesses. Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 79 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 79 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 11 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 79 Scripture:

"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-- yet was without sin." -Hebrews 4:14-15

Day 79 Devotional:

"Jesus Christ was tempted by the devil, mocked, betrayed, crucified, and through all of that still remained righteous and without sin. Jesus can sympathize with our weaknesses because He has been through it all. In Luke chapter 22 in verses 41-44, we see that Jesus prayed to God the Father that He would take the cup away from Him it if was His will. Jesus was fully man and fully God and He knew what he had to do for our sins, but at that moment He was in anguish because of it. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us so that we may have eternal life through Him. We can have hope in knowing that He understands our weaknesses, He has overcome the world, and that there is nothing that we can't overcome with Him by our side."

I do have this journal available for purchase on Amazon if you want to go and grab one:

To Purchase women's journal click here To Purchase neutral journal click here

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord thank You for making the ultimate sacrifice so that I may have eternal life through You. You have overcome the world and I know that there is nothing that I can't overcome with You by my side. Jesus, it's in Your name that I pray, Amen."

Today's journal entry is a free write:

Write down whatever comes to your mind.

"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." -Hebrews 4:16

So that is it for today's episode. I will be back tomorrow for day 80, so make sure you stay tuned for that.

I love you guys so much.
