We Should Live as Children of Light. Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 63 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 63 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 27 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 63 Scripture:

"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord."

-Ephesians 5:8-10

Day 63 Devotional:

"Jesus is the light of the world and whoever follows Him has the light of life (John 8:12). When are saved by Jesus, we no longer live in the darkness of sin. It's important for us to live as children of light and find out what pleases the Lord. We can do this by asking God to reveal the fruit of the Spirit in our hearts and by letting the Holy Spirit guide us. It's also important for us to study the Bible and the teachings of Jesus to find out what pleases the Lord and do those things. In this world full of darkness, we have to let our light shine through and portray the fruit of the Spirit to others."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord thank You for giving me the light of life. Please reveal the fruit of the Spirit in my heart and help me to portray it to others. I love You with my whole heart. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal entry is a free write:

Write down whatever comes to your mind.

"Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." -Ephesians 5:11
