What Does the Spirit of Truth Do? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 52 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 52 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 38 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 52 Scripture:

“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come." -John 16:13

Day 52 Devotional:

"After Jesus went back up to heaven after the resurrection, God the Father sent the Holy Spirit down to counsel us and show us the truth, and this is what Jesus is telling His disciples in chapter 16 of the book of John. When we are saved and ask Jesus to come into our hearts, then we have the Holy Spirit within us. It's so important for us to let the Holy Spirit guide us and show us the truth. When we are guided by the Holy Spirit, we can have comfort and peace in knowing that we will never be steered in the wrong direction. Now, this doesn't mean that we won't veer off and try to go our own way, but that we will never be led astray by the Holy Spirit."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Thank You heavenly Father for sending the Holy Spirit down to counsel me and show me the truth. I know that when I let the Holy Spirit guide me I will never be led astray. Please give me the courage and strength to stand firm in my faith and not be conformed to this world. In Jesus' name, Amen."

What truth has the Holy Spirit been speaking to me lately?

Have I been letting the Holy Spirit guide me?

Based on scripture, where does the Holy Spirit hear the truth from?

"He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you." -John 16:14
