What Have You Been Asking the LORD For? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 34 of 90.

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 34 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 56 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 34 Scripture:

"Ask and it will given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

-Matthew 7:7

Day 34 Devotional:

"If we wholeheartedly want something from the Lord, we have to ask for it and He will give it to us. Now, this doesn't mean that the Lord will give us any worldly thing that our heart desires. When we seek the Lord with all of our hearts, then the things that we want will be for the greater good. When we seek things from the Lord, then we will find them. We just have to open up our eyes and our hearts to the Lord and discern the truth. When we knock on a door it will be opened to us, but it is important for us to let God guide us and knock on doors that will help us further our God-led calling."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord thank You for always providing for me and guiding me through every aspect of my life. Please continue to lead, guide, and direct me. I know that when I seek You with all of my heart, then You will give me everything that I need to fulfill the calling that You've placed on my heart. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Have I been asking the Lord for anything? If so, what?

How have I been seeking the Lord with all of my heart?

What kind of things should I be asking the Lord for?

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

-Matthew 21:22
