What is Love? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 40 of 90.

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 40 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 50 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 40 Scripture:

"Love is patient, love is kind. it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs." -1 Corinthians 13:4-5

Day 40 Devotional:

"The greatest gift that the Lord has given us is love. God is merciful, gracious, and abounding in love. There are no boundaries on the love that God has for us and that we should have for others. Everyone deserves love, no matter who they are or what they've done. It is important for us to open up our hearts to God's love and to show His love to others. So today let's reflect on God's love for us and how we can show love to others."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord thank You for Your unconditional love. I am beyond grateful for You and everything that You've done for me. Thank You, Lord, for never leaving me and always loving me no matter what. I love You with my whole heart. In Jesus' name, Amen."

How does God show His love to me?

How can I show my love to others?

Based on scripture, what is love?

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." -1 Corinthians 13:3
