What Plans Does the LORD Have for Us? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 46 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 46 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 44 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 46 Scripture:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremaih 29:11

Day 46 Devotional:

"I'm sure you've seen or heard this verse before. This verse is very popular, but a lot of people use it out of context. In order to truly understand verse 11, you have to go back to verse 10 and read through verse 14. Jeremiah 29:10 says, "This is what the LORD says: 'When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place." Many people think that we won't be harmed if we believe in God or are Christians, but that is not what the Lord is saying in verse 11. The plans that the Lord has for us are not to harm us, but that doesn't mean that we won't be harmed or face hardships. We have to trust God, stand firm in our faith, persevere, and know that He is always working."

I do have this journal available for purchase on Amazon if you want to go and grab one:

To Purchase women's journal click here To Purchase neutral journal click here

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord thank You for always working. I will put my trust in You and know that You have bigger plans than I could ever imagine. Please give me the strength to stand firm in my faith and persevere no matter what hardships I face. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal questions:

What hardships have I been facing?

Read Jeremiah 29:10-14 and journal your thoughts.

Based on scripture, what should we do when we face hardships?

"Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." -Jeremiah 29:12

So that is it for today's episode. I will be back tomorrow for day 47, so make sure you stay tuned for that.

I love you guys so much.

Never forget to choose faith over fear.
