When We Trust in God, What Can Man Do to Us? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 77 of 90

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 77 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 13 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 77 Scripture:

"in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" -Psalm 56:11

Day 77 Devotional:

"God is the Almighty, He is our Creator, and He is all-powerful. When we put our trust in the Lord we can have hope in knowing that He is in complete control and we have nothing to be afraid of. God fights our battles and He never loses. There is nothing that we can't overcome with God by our side. He strengthens and protects us. In those moments where we feel weak or afraid, we just have to pray, give it all to God, and trust in Him completely. When we don't want to do something because we are afraid of what other people are going to do or say, we have put our trust in God, know that He is always by our side, and let the Holy Spirit guide us."

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Lord thank You for always being right here with me and giving me strength. I know that I have nothing to be afraid of with You by my side. Please continue to give me strength and courage through every aspect of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Today's journal questions:

What am I afraid of?

Have I put all of my trust in the Lord? Why or why not?

Take some time to pray and give it all to God. Journal your thoughts.

"Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you." -Psalm 9:10
