Will the Lord Fight for Us? Daily Devotionals in "Christ Transforms Me." Day 18 of 90.

In today's episode, we will dive into the devotional for day 18 of my journal Christ Transforms Me. This is a 90-day journal filled with daily devotionals, scripture, prayer, and gratitude. I first published this journal in January of 2022 when God had put it on my heart to create this journal. Throughout a year of praying, reflecting, and letting God and the Holy Spirit give me all the words, scriptures, and everything for this journal, I published it in January 2022. So each day for the next 72 days, I will post an episode on here going over this journal.

Day 18 Scripture:

Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still." -Exodus 14:13-14

Day 18 Devotional:

"This is what Moses said to the Israelites that were afraid in the desert because the Egyptians were after them. These Israelites cried out to the Lord and told Moses that he should have just left them alone to serve the Egyptians. This was right before Moses parted the Red Sea. Sometimes when we are searching for answers to things that are out of our control and we feel like God isn't listening to us, we just need to be still and let Him guide us. God is always right here with us. We just have to have stand firm in our faith and lean on Him every step of the way."

In this scripture here, the Israelites could only see the rushing waters ahead and the Egyptians behind them trying to come after them. They couldn't see the miracle that was about to happen where the red sea would be parted for them to be able to go through. Whenever we are going through tough times and we feel like there is no way out, the Lord is already working in our favor, we just have to be still and trust Him.

I do have this journal available for purchase on Amazon if you want to go and grab one:

To Purchase women's journal click here To Purchase neutral journal click here

So if you want to grab one of these journals and go along with me each day with the journal physically in your hands, then go ahead and do that. Otherwise, you can just pull up the notes on your phone, or you can get a notebook, loose-leaf paper, or a binder, however you want to do it. I want you to just take a few minutes and write down things that you are thankful for and then also write down some prayer requests.

Today’s Prayer:

"Thank you, Lord, for always being here for me and helping me in my time of need. I know that You hear me and will guide me through this in Your perfect timing. All my trust is in You Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Today's journal entry is a free write:

Write down whatever comes to your mind.

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." -Psalm 46:10
